It started out with a love of all things clean.

I have been a dental hygienist for several years, and my husband owns a cleaning company. I was ready for a change in my life. I needed something to satisfy my entrepreneur sprit, my creative mind, and to be a part of something bigger than myself.  Through much prayer and soul-searching, I found my answer…”stay with the cleaning business!”  Along this journey, a particular bible verse has stood as the foundation from which to begin my business.  Psalm 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.  And so the business begins…

Making handcrafted body products is a marriage of all the things I have enjoyed: cooking, science, and feeling good about the simple pleasures in life. In our world of fast-paced, technology- based living, getting back to enjoying the “simple things” has been a welcoming and transforming way of life for me. That’s why we make our items the old-fashioned way (by hand), and in small batches, to ensure quality and care goes into each one our products that you receive.

As a mother, I have become more aware of all the items that we use on a daily basis, and how they can impact our life in a big way. From our food, beauty products, and everything in between, there are so many harmful additives that we put into or on our body that most people are unaware of. Take time to educate yourself! Read labels…if you can’t pronounce it, odds are it is not something good for you and your body.

We do not use any artificial colors or dyes, parabens, surfactants (sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate), propylene glycol or preservatives in our products. Our high quality fragrance oils are phthalate-free. We package our items using recyclable materials and reusable containers to do our part in being a “green business.”

 

Being part of the community and connecting to people around us is a big part of what we do. Giving back to others by donating your time and resources is important to us.
